    Before and After the Procedure

    How does trichological examination work?

    Initial consultation and medical history

We start with a structured questionnaire followed by a discussion about the duration of your issues, family history, medications, nutrition, stress, and hair care. We record your current products, habits (washing, styling, coloring), and possible triggers. The goal is to understand the context that may be maintaining or worsening the problem.

    Trichoscopy and photodocumentation

Next, the scalp and hair units are examined under magnification (trichoscopy), assessing oiliness, flaking, redness, miniaturization, or breakage. Standardized photos and markers are taken for future comparison. Based on findings, laboratory tests may be recommended.

    Conclusion, recommendations, and plan

You will receive a clear summary of the findings and a concrete plan including a home routine (washing, use of topical products), dietary supplements if needed, frequency of in-office treatments such as mesotherapy, PRP, or microneedling, and a structured follow-up schedule. Education is also provided on how to recognize improvements and when to adjust the plan.

Compression garments should be worn continuously for 6–8 weeks, including during sleep. They help reduce swelling, support the tissues, and promote scar healing. After consulting with your doctor, wearing time can be gradually reduced.
