The main reasons for sagging breasts are ageing, weakening skin. But you can have your firm cleavage back. A breast lift improves the shape and firmness of your breasts without impacting the size. The patient must consult the physician and undergo a prior pre-operative examination. During the lift, the mammary gland tissue is relocated, the excess skin is removed, and ptotic areola lifted. If the ptosis is mild or the lift is not extensive, the intervention is done by performing a slight incision around the areola and pulling the tissue towards the middle of the breast. In severe cases, another incision is required, vertically in the downward direction of the inframammary fold where it’s barely visible. Scars after healing are minimal. After the breast lift, the patient must rest as prescribed by the surgeon, wear an elasticated brassiere, avoid physical activities, and look after the scars to ensure their maximum softening.
