If glandular tissue is also being removed, the procedure is done under general anesthesia and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. The incisions are discreetly placed along the edge of the areola to remain as inconspicuous as possible after healing.
Fast Recovery and Return to Routine
After the standard procedure, you will usually stay at the clinic for one night. We recommend rest during the first week, followed by wearing compression garments for 4–6 weeks. Most clients return to full physical activity in about six weeks.
