    How does breast reconstruction with an implant work?

    Consultation and implant selection

    During the consultation, we assess the quality of soft tissues, the position of existing scars, and the desired volume. Together, we choose the shape and profile of the implant and determine whether to complement the procedure with symmetry adjustment of the other side. We also discuss postoperative care and the schedule of follow-up visits.

    Gentle surgery under general anesthesia

    Under general anesthesia, the surgeon uses the existing scar, prepares the pocket either above or below the muscle, and inserts the sterilized implant. The position and height are precisely adjusted to ensure a natural appearance. The incision is closed with absorbable sutures and covered with a light dressing.

    Safe healing and shape stabilization

    After awakening, you will receive an elastic bra, instructions for gentle upper limb activity, and the date for a follow-up check. Over the following weeks, the shape gradually stabilizes. If needed, minor scar refinements or later symmetry procedures can be planned.
