How does ultrasound liposuction differ from traditional liposuction?
Unlike traditional liposuction, ultrasound liposuction uses ultrasound energy to break down fat cells. This makes the procedure gentler on surrounding tissues, with a lower risk of swelling and faster healing.
Who is this method suitable for?
Ultrasound liposuction is ideal for women and men with localized fat deposits that do not respond to diet and exercise. It is suitable for body contouring and shaping finer areas, but it is not a treatment for obesity.
Is the procedure painful?
Thanks to the tumescent solution and anesthesia, this type of liposuction is generally well tolerated and painless. After the procedure, sensitivity, swelling, or bruising may occur, which gradually subside.
How long does the recovery take?
Mild swelling and bruising usually disappear within 2 to 6 weeks. Returning to normal activities is possible after a few days, while physically demanding activities are recommended to be postponed for several weeks.
What results can I expect and when will they be visible?
Initial changes can be seen within the first few days after the procedure. As swelling subsides, results gradually become more defined, with the final effect usually visible after several weeks to months.
