What is the difference between open and closed rhinoplasty?
The open method allows detailed shaping for more complex procedures; the closed method leaves no external scars and is suitable for smaller corrections.
Can only the tip or the bridge of the nose be adjusted?
Yes, minor adjustments to the soft part or the bridge can be done separately depending on indication and expectations.
Will there be scars after the surgery?
With the closed method, scars are not visible; with the open method, there is a small incision at the columella (between the nostrils) that blends with the surrounding skin over time.
When will I see the final result?
Initial changes are visible immediately, then more so after swelling subsides. The final shape usually stabilizes within 3–6 months.
Will rhinoplasty help with breathing?
Yes, simultaneous septum correction can improve nasal airflow and breathing comfort.
