Facelift

MACS (Minimal Access Cranial Suspension) is a modern facelift technique that uses shorter incisions and lifts the tissues vertically, upwards. The result is a more natural appearance without excessive skin tension. The procedure is less invasive than a traditional facelift and is usually associated with a faster recovery.
The procedure is intended for clients who want to rejuvenate the lower part of the face, specifically to smooth sagging skin around the jawline, cheeks, and under the chin. It is most commonly performed on women and men between 40 and 60 years of age who want to maintain natural facial expressions and avoid dramatic changes in appearance.
After the procedure, a rest period with wearing an elastic bandage for about 1–2 weeks is recommended. During this time, most swelling and bruising will subside. Thanks to the gentle technique, healing is smooth, and most clients can return to their normal routine afterward.
The incisions are made in front of the ear, along its natural crease, making the scars very discreet once healed. In some cases, an omega-shaped incision is used, which continues behind the ear and into the hairline. Our specialists will advise you on how to care for the scars so they gradually fade and become nearly invisible.
With proper skin care and lifestyle, the effects of the MACS facelift can last long-term. The advantage of this technique is that even after several years, the results look natural without the “stretched” appearance of the face.
