Eyebrow lift

A brow lift, also known as a forehead lift, is a surgical procedure in which excess skin is removed from the forehead area and the eyebrows are gently lifted. This brightens the appearance of the eyes, smooths forehead wrinkles, and gives the face a fresher look.
There are three main techniques. The traditional brow lift involves a longer incision along the hairline and allows for a significant lift of both the forehead and the eyebrows. The direct brow lift includes an incision just above the eyebrows, with the scar hidden within the brow line and a faster recovery time. The last method is the temporal brow lift, which primarily lifts the outer part of the eyebrow through an incision near the temples.
The procedure is especially recommended for women and men who suffer from drooping eyebrows, loose forehead skin, or asymmetrical eyebrows. It is most commonly performed on people aged 40 and above, but less invasive methods can be suitable for younger clients as well.
In the first few days, it is recommended to wear an elastic bandage, followed by wearing an elastic headband for several days to weeks. Stitches are usually removed after about two weeks, at which point swelling and bruising typically subside. The final shape of the eyebrows stabilizes over the course of several months.
Yes. It is most commonly combined with upper eyelid surgery, and sometimes with a facelift or lip lift. This allows for a more comprehensive facial rejuvenation and a harmonious result.
