Deep plane facelift

A deep plane facelift is a modern surgical technique that works not only on the skin but also releases and repositions the deeper layers of the face (the so-called SMAS system and supporting ligaments). This results in a more natural-looking outcome without excessive skin tension. Volume is restored in areas where it has naturally diminished, so the face appears more youthful rather than "tightened."
This method is suitable for both women and men, typically aged 45 and older, who desire a more noticeable yet natural-looking rejuvenation of the face and neck. It helps address loose skin, deeper wrinkles, volume loss in the cheek area, and less defined jawline contours. It may also be a suitable solution for clients who have previously undergone a facelift and are seeking longer-lasting results.
Because the procedure targets deeper facial structures, the recovery time is generally a bit longer than that of more superficial facelifts. Most swelling and bruising subside within 2–3 weeks, but full results may take several months to stabilize. The healing process is individual – we will discuss all details with you before and after the procedure.
The incisions are made very discreetly – along the hairline, around the ears, and under the chin. Thanks to careful suturing techniques and proper aftercare, the scars gradually fade and become nearly invisible. Postoperative care may also include laser treatments or products that promote healing.
The results of a deep plane facelift are typically long-lasting, often remaining visible for 10 to 15 years. The duration of the effect depends on genetics, lifestyle, and skincare. While natural aging continues, this technique helps maintain firmer contours and a more youthful appearance for significantly longer compared to more superficial methods.
