Capsular contracture

It is a hardening of the breast caused by scar tissue forming around the implant, which can lead to pain and changes in shape.
The breast may feel hard, deformed, or tender to the touch. A doctor will confirm the diagnosis through an examination.
The main causes include infection, hematoma, or a reaction to silicone gel if the implant is compromised.
Not always. Based on the findings, your doctor may recommend medication and massage, or if needed, implant removal or replacement.
The surgery is performed under general anesthesia. Thanks to a gentle surgical approach, recovery is usually well tolerated.
Most patients return to normal daily activities within 2–3 weeks. Full physical activity is typically possible after six weeks.
