When is arm lift surgery recommended?
The procedure is recommended for women with stable weight who are bothered by loose skin on their arms. The most common causes are weight loss or natural aging.
Will there be a scar after the procedure?
The incision is made in less visible areas, most often in the armpit or along the inner arm. The sutures are absorbable, and the scar gradually softens over time. If needed, it can be refined with laser treatment.
Is hospitalization necessary?
Yes, you usually stay at the clinic for one day. The doctor will monitor healing, remove drains the following day, and apply compression garments.
Can the procedure be combined with others?
Arm lift surgery is often combined with liposuction. For more extensive changes, it can be combined with other aesthetic procedures.
How long is the recovery period?
You can return to normal activities within 1–2 weeks, and resume sports after about six weeks. Wearing compression sleeves throughout the recovery period is recommended to support healing.
